Lyric the CHW carting sheltie
ADOPTED…..Lyric is a gorgeous AKC registered sable color headed white sheltie. She is very active and very smart. She would make a fantastic agility or flyball dog. She is an excellent carting dog and can easily pull a cart for miles. The photographs are of her carting. She responds too voice and leash commands for carting. She has been trained in basic obedience, and has been introduced to agility. She is very good at stay and come. She get along well with other dogs, and cats. She is very sweet and likes to be with people. She is toy and food motivated. Lyric needs a home with a sheltie playmate. She is great offlead. She is 15 3/4″ tall and weighs 20 lbs. She is 18 months old.

I actually have a CHW sheltie and his dad was a blue merle and his mom was a sable and white, neither were CHW or even had much white in them. So I guess they don’t even technically need to be bred from other CHW’s

It is called a color headed white. It is caused by breeding two white factored shelties together. It has nothing to do with albinism.
