My sheltie loved to … My sheltie loved to exercise so I’m sure it will jog with you. They were meant to herd animals so I’m sure one could keep up with you! As for chasing a ball/toy, they love it. My dog didn’t take a specific interest in tons of dog toys. All he needed was a ball and someone to throw it. he also loved chasing my family around. we would take turns running away form him and when he caught up to one of us, another would start running somewhere else until he caught up again.
