They would never hurt a fly. My sheltie use to protect my parakeet and she didn’t even like him, lol. It is in their nature to be gentle, loyal, loving and very intelligent. Good luck with your baby :). You are in for many years of happiness!!

I know just how you feel. I felt the same way about my sheltie and even have her ashes to be buried with me. She was my best friend too and I miss still and it has been 6 yrs. If I get another one, I am going to a sheltie rescue.

Shelties wouldn’t hurt a fly. Your dog is just beautiful and I love the markings. She looks a lot like mine did. To all that are getting Shelties….I am so envious. You will find they are the most wonderful dogs in the world.
