We have two … We have two Shelties and they COULD talk if they chose to. They are wonderful companions and beautiful creatures. I would have 100 of them if we had room for them. They are both (female) and smarter than we are. These are our second.
Aww, that’s so sad. … Aww, that’s so sad. I am so sorry you lost your sheltie. Adopt a rescue, my shelties are all rescues. Most people only want a puppy but what happens to all the poor shelties that no one wants…I always recommend adopting a rescue. Every day with my shelties is sheltie heaven to me.
My 14-year old … My 14-year old Sheltie does this, too, and also does what I call a “whisper-bark” - it sounds like he’s barking under his breath. My husband used to call it “Sheltie Cussing”.
