my shetland sheep dog puppy’s food?
my shetland sheepdog puppy is 2 and a half months old and i like to keap him as healthy as possible so i feed him canidae food.but i went on canidae.com and there were different types called platinum, lamb and rice, chicken and rice and a all life stages and beside them it sais dry or canned. which 1 should i feed him or should i mix every once in a while cause i never had a dog before so i m not sure. which 1 would be the best for him that would keap him healthy. and which treats from canidae would u reccomend for him so that i give him when he does things right. by the way i m gnna keap him on canidae his whole life cause from the research i did its 1 of the healthiest and most natural food for dogs. if i m wrong let me know.

Canidae is a good food.
You need a puppy formula for the first year or two. Look for a "Puppy Food."
Don’t switch foods on him suddenly, it can cause upset stomach. Mix about 1/4 of the new food with 3/4 of the old food for a few days, then half and half for a few days, etc. until you have him on the new food.
Generally, dry food is best on a daily basis, since the crunchy-ness helps clean your dog’s teeth. If you want to mix in some canned food, that’s good, too.
