When are Shetland Sheepdogs fully grown?
I have an adorable AKC Shetland Sheepdog puppy, female, who just turned 5 months old. She’s starting to get her adult coat through the "puppy fuzz" (adorable). I am wondering, though, when female Shelties will reach their adult height/weight? My previous Sheltie was adopted as an adult- this is my first puppy of this breed. Thanks!

Probably by a year and a half. My Sheltie is almost a year and still has the puppy fur. But then again, he’s a slow bloomer.
I’ve seen Shelties look full-grown by 6 months. Kind of depends on what kind of pedigree she has.
So I’d say anywhere between 6 months and a year and a half.
