A rousing, barking, squeaking, squealing, and whining group of nine sheltie puppies; egged on by Alan barking back at the pups and drumming on their new tunnel box and Janet singing encouragement for them to scale out of the Xpen.
In other words, generalized silly noisy play with a large group of healthy puppies!

Emma’s new litter of puppies, born 1/20/09 from 8:30 am to 11:50 am. NINE puppies, all squeaking and nursing and looking active and healthy. Momma Emma is doing a fine job of nursing her puppies and is surprisingly bright and alert. The count appears to be:

18 day old Sheltie puppies up and busy
Emma’s nine sheltie puppies are up and exploring their new Xpen play area. They are so funny, because they were bumbling around everywhere BEFORE I got the camera; and then they all huddled up when the camera came out. After a minute they got back into action!
