This will be the last meal the puppies get in their foster home. Tonight they go to their forever homes. It will be such a bittersweet parting for us when they leave.

Brooke, the Heartworm Positive Sheltie is saved before Christmas

Brooke is a beautiful Shelter/Collie mix, just about 25 pounds. This wee little dog was left tied on a 2-foot chain with no food or water. Animal Control picked her up and scheduled her to be euthanized on December 21st. We pulled her from the shelter on the 19th - she deserves [...]
