Dog rescue sites in N. Michigan?

Are there any rescue agencies in N. Michigan (north of GR) that handle placements for Shelties or sheltie mix breeds? I live in Traverse City

Well, there’s obviously the humane society or S.P.C.A. but you can do a search on google or petfinder for "Michigan Sheltie Rescues" and I’m sure you’ll find some good place.
